Cabinet of Curiosity

tartysuzWhen I read a political headline that says, "Bennett removed from cabinet," I immediately understand that an individual has lost his appointment as a minister with the government.
However, when I read a headline that says, "Bennett removed from cabinet (with video), I get a very literal image a man being taken out of a giant piece of furniture.
This visualization may have been informed by a few seconds of an Alfred Hitchcock intro that I caught on TV last night. He was bragging about his lovely secretarial desk and all the things he could fit into it. He opens a big drawer and there's a small woman inside: his secretary.
Maybe my subconscious is commenting on how the shenanigans in the B.C. legislature are episodes of suspense without an overall, season-long narrative arc.
