New Comic: Supernatural #1

Does anyone read the Supernatural comics?
I've been wondering what people think of the new series, since it's being done by a bona fide comics writer who has not worked on the show. There is also a new artist.
I'm also up for a spoilery discussion of the previous Supernatural comic series in the comment section of this post.

Date: 2011-10-26 12:37 am (UTC)I think you might enjoy the previous series as well. It was written by Dabb and Loflin, so it was like the show, but with a bigger budget! It's meant to be canon, so what we learn about John's relationship with Sam and Dean is extremely interesting.

Well I really loved the anime series- especially the episode 'rising son' which was based on one of the comics too I believe. I will definitely check them all out someday!

I love how the artist used some very Jared-y features to depict Sam. Dean looks like Dean, but not Jensen. Anyway, the art was very good throughout the series, and the story was engrossing.
