An Anthology of Their Own

Edmonton likes to think of itself as a sports town (the Oilers, Eskimos) and a theatre town (the Citadel, the Fringe Festival, a zillion productions on at any given moment).
But we don't crow enough about the talent that's attracted to and been developed by our very own video game maker, BioWare.
The award-winning comics artist Jillian Tamaki worked there, and now two other young BioWare designers are making their mark in comics. They're Joy Ang and Nick Thornborrow, who have edited a sumptuous collection of comics by emerging artists, many of whom work in new media. Ironically, I interviewed Joy and Nick at a cafe across the street from where I interviewed Jillian before she hit the big time!
You can read about The Anthology Project in this week's Sequential Tart:

Also this week, the Tarts and I talk about Supernatural's season 5 finale:

And BONUS! DC Comics is releasing Wonder Woman #600 this week with much fanfare. Serendipitously, we have a guest column by JD Kotula on why he loves Wonder Woman:
